Describing a moment in time

We are going to write as if we are one of the people in the photograph.  We are using the five senses, plus developing ideas about the setting to create a piece of writing that makes the reader feel like they are also in the photograph.  Here is a suggestion from our class discussion of the five paragraphs we could write about this scene:

• Introduction to the scene - where, when,.
• Bringing alive the atmosphere, weather, brilliant blues and greens
• Bringing alive the experience of the walking tourists
• Bringing alive the experience of the walker on his break
• Concluding with a sense of the magic of the day
